The distribution of new ration cards in Telangana began on July 14, 2025. The government has already distributed more than 3 lakh cards to beneficiaries. The Civil Supplies Department has revealed that after a thorough examination of all the applications received till July 13, new cards have been granted to about 5 lakh people.
However, Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy has already informed that it will take some time for the physical distribution of cards. He assured that the printing process is going on and that the cards will be distributed to everyone soon. Officials are advising those who have not received the card at present to apply through Meeseva online centers. Application process.. Required documents
When you go to the Meeseva centers for new ration cards, you will have to fill the application form available there. The applicant must also submit his Aadhaar card and residence certificates. These documents have to be uploaded online in PDF format. If you apply without the correct documents, along with the grant of a new ration card, changes in the old cards will not be possible, and the application may be rejected. Therefore, it is important to submit complete details and correct documents.
You must also fill out the Meeseva application form to include family members in the old cards. It is necessary to submit the Aadhaar cards and home address documents of those to be included. After the completion of your application process, it will reach the login of the officials. After field verification, if you are eligible, you will be granted the card.

The Civil Supplies Department has clarified that those who have not received the card do not need to worry. The government has informed that the process of granting ration cards in the state will continue continuously. It has been stated that eligible persons can apply through Meeseva at any time. Currently, there are 89 lakh ration cards in the state, and the government aims to issue an additional 95 lakh new cards. With this, the total number of beneficiaries, including old and new cards, is estimated to reach 3 crore 10 lakh.
